Beginning To Look Like Christmas

These past few weeks we have been working on many Christmas activities. We made glitter Angels, hung stocking by the chimney, made wreaths,  wrote about our family traditions, and ended the week by making Gingerbread Houses with our chapel buddies.

Our guest reader this week was Anna's Grandpa Steve.

Getting Ready For Thanksgiving

The children have been very busy getting ready for the Thanksgiving Program. They made place mates with there chapel buddies. We made Pilgrim and Indian costumes for our program along with teepees, Mayflower ship, and turkeys for our table decorations.

A big thanks to Josh Abel for accompanying us on the guitar during our program.

We thank all our parents and grandparents who were able to attend our program today. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Animal Habitats

This week we have been learning about animal habitats. Mrs. McCane from Nature On The Move came and talked to us about grasslands, forest, and water habitats. We enjoyed looking at her snake, turtles, and frogs. We also enjoyed touching the different animal skins.

Pumpkins Activities

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about pumpkins. We have read many books about pumpkins. We made a pumpkin mobile, we made a special pumpkin with our chapel buddies, went to Theis Farm, ended our week with a fall party.

We also finished our unit on Mo Willems by making pigeon hats.
