100th Day of School

On Wednesday we celebrated the 100th Day of School. We got to wear our special 100th Day shirts that we made and our 100th Day crown that we colored. We did many different activities for the 100th Day. First we made a 100 inch snake and decorated it. We also made a special 100th Day trail mix with a 100 pieces. We counted a 100 steps from our classroom and ended up in the hallway to the lunchroom. We made a class book on how we will look when we are 100 years old. We wrote our numbers to 100 and counted by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100. We ended our day with Ms. Hays coming to read two 100th day books to us. We had a great 100th Day of School!

The Magic House

This week we started talking about Community Helpers and the role they play in our Community.  On Friday we went to The Magic House and spent time in the Village. The children got to visit different community occupations.  Some of our favorites were:
